A light finish like rare wild silk
This is a spun slub yarn made from domesticated silk. The slub shape allows air to be incorporated into the loosely twisted parts, creating gaps in the knitting to give the product a light finish.
The colors are achromatic and neutral tones of red, reddish purple, and blue-purple, creating an elegant color range.

Domestic silkworm silk is fed only mulberry leaves, so the shape of the mouth is uniform, and the thickness of the cocoon fibers is also uniform. Therefore, if it is made into a straight thread, the fibers become dense, making it heavy and causing the work to lose its shape, so this thread is finished in a slub shape with varying thickness.

In contrast, wild silkworm silk, which feeds on a variety of leaves, has irregular cocoon thicknesses, so even if it is twisted into a straight thread, gaps appear in the thread structure and it becomes a light thread.

Originally, wild silk is more suitable for knitting threads to prevent them from losing their shape, but Silk Relief is made lighter by using domestic silkworm silk, which is stable.

Silk is a natural protein fiber made from silkworm cocoons. It is made by combining about 20 types of amino acids such as alanine, sericin, and glycine, and is said to be the fiber closest to human skin. Therefore, it is less irritating to the skin, so it can be used safely by people who suffer from skin problems and in households with babies.

It also has excellent appearance and functionality, such as a glossy feel, a pleasant texture, and heat retention and moisture absorption/release.

On the other hand, it is a material that is weak to friction, easily discolors, and is easily eaten by insects.
