かぎ針編み(Crochet)「毛糸1玉で簡単レースのアームカバー」One Skein Lacy Arm Warmers "Antoinette"
私はあんまり歴史に詳しくなくて、だから今頃ひとつひとつ機会があるたびにこうして調べてみるんですけど、今初めて首飾り事件というものを知ってWikipediaで読んだところです。
あまりにマリーアントワネットが可哀そうで、思わず泣いてしまいました。
どこの世界にも似たような人がいるもので、歴史と言っても結局ひとりひとりの人間が作り上げてきたものだと思います。
人間の欲やエゴってすごいパワーがあって、それが良いように働けば世界は良くなるし、悪く働くととんでもないことが起こってしまう。
今日は編んだ作品にアントワネットっていう名前を勝手に付けさせていただいて、ちょっとご縁を感じたので彼女についてちょっと読んでみようと思って、そしてたまたま見つけたお話です。

ゴッドファーザー３に出てくる司祭がロアン枢機卿に似てて、ここから題材を得たのかなとさえ思ってしまいました。

I'm not very familiar with history, so I'm going to look at each and every opportunity at this time, but for the first time I've just learned about the "necklace incident" and read it on Wikipedia.

Today, I gave my crocheted work the name Antoinette, and because I felt a bit connected, I decided to read a little about her and happened to find it.

そして、今回編ませていただいたアームカバーは、これからの季節、保温効果と紫外線対策に少しは役立ってくれそうな、そしてそれ以上にエレガントで素敵な仕上がりになりました。
着る人の気持ちを引き締めてくれるような、そんな作品になってとてもうれしい。
今回使った編み方は、Boxed Waveと呼ばれる模様で、箱の中にひとつひとつの波が収まっている、という意味です。日本語にうまく訳せないんですけど。
