Today's video, I introduce how to join new yarn of Wayuu Mochila.

糸のつなぎ方はいろいろあって
There are some techniques joining yarn,
編み物本に書かれている手法のほかにも
One is the text book technique,
マジックノット、ロシアンジョイン、ループジョインなど
Others are ｍagic knot, Russian join, Loop join
海外から入ってきた手法もあります
They are grown up in their local situation.
今回は、オーソドックスな手法を使いつつ
Today, I introduce one technique
オリジナルで少し工夫した
I modified originaly from the text book method,
丈夫で、見た目が良く、簡単な方法をお伝えします
it's strong, good looking, and easy.

【マジックノット the magic knot】
糸端を隠すことが出来ない場面でどうしてもつながなければならない
In the case you need to join, but you can't hide the ends
そんなときに役立つ一番簡単で結び目が目立たない方法です
This is the easiest and good looking way
レース編み、透かし編みなど鎖編みが多いときに使います
Suitable for lace crochet and open work, especially for chains
欠点は、結び目が硬いこと、強度が無いこと
The weak points are the knot is like a grit, and a lack of the strength
【ロシアンジョイン the Russian join】
糸端を隠すことが出来ない場面でどうしてもつながなければならない
In the case you need to join, but you can't hide the ends
太い糸に適した結ばないので丈夫な手法です
This way is suitable for the thicker yarn,
and strong enough because it's untied
欠点は接合部分が太くごわつくこと、手間がかかること
The weak points are the joining part is thick and hard, and
it takes more time
【ループジョイン the loop join】
糸端を隠すことが出来ない場面でどうしてもつながなければならない
In the case you need to join, but you can't hide the ends
ほどけず丈夫で簡単な方法です
It's strong enough, easy, and long lasting
欠点は少し太くなってしまうこと
The weak point is the thicker joining part
